Good habits will not only make you a better person, but pave ways of opportunities to you, adopting a positive attitude towards life despite its numerous challenges, is a key to healthy lifestyle. When you are aware and in charge of your thoughts, feelings and behavior, it enable you to have and maintain reasonable and admired physical and emotional health.
1. Maintain healthy relationship: Always have it at the back of your mind that the way relate with people around you has a way of influencing your lifestyle. Therefore, endeavour to maintain a healthy relationship with family members, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
2. Maintain a positive mental attitude: Always pay attention to your mind because your mind has a powerful influence on your body and the immune system. Try all you can to avoid behaviours and grow anger in you, increase your worries and stressed always. Always wear a cheerful, happy disposition because it imparts health and elongates life.
3. Use medications prescribed by your doctor, and don't overuse painkillers and sedation.
4. Trust in the power of the healing of God: Only God can assure your overall health, "spiritual, mental, physical and emotional health". Therefore, put your trust in Him and be obedient to His words, for good health comes from faith in and faithfulness to Him. Read proverbs 19:23; 4:20-22. Spend time to pray instead of sobbing, nagging, and being stressed up all the time.
5. Have a good hygiene: Wash your hands often to prevent the spread of disease. Each time you use the restroom, wash your hands before leaving the area to remove germs. Wash your hands before you handle food. Wash your hair and brush it regularly to prevent dandruff, head lice and other scalp disease. Bath and brush your teeth regularly; wash and wear clean clothes; keep your surrounding clean; eat and sleep in a safe and clean environment.
6. Go for routine medical check-ups. See your doctor regularly so he can monitor your physical health and tell you what you need to do from time to time..
